T.T. 22: Alive in El Salvador — My First Steps
"There is no beginning too small"

I did it.
Yep… I really “did the damn thing.”
I’ve arrived in El Salvador!
Alive!!! And well.
And did I mention “alive” yet?
(it’s worth repeating that “alive” part — four times already now — for any concerned family members and friends who might read this)
Proof of Life + “Proof of Work” (BTC) + Proof of Civilized Airport:
There’s so much to say.
I’ve been here less than 48 hours… yet I already have enough experiences and thoughts to fill up at least 48 paragraphs!
Where to start?
I’ll begin… with the beginning.
Details?
Nah. Those can wait.
There are far too many already to cram into a single T.T. post anyway.
This “Thoreau Thursdays” series is intended to be easily digestible… breaking down the application of timeless wisdom into bite-size chunks:
For now, I’d rather (briefly) emphasize the benefits of ACTUALLY beginning
In previous posts, I’ve repeatedly mentioned repeated habits:
Now for a taste of “payoff” already:
If you’re a liberty-loving critical thinker who follows independent media, then you’ve most likely heard of Tim Pool.
His co-interview of Jack Dorsey (founder of Twitter) on the Joe Rogan Experience several years ago is among the most watched podcast episodes of all time.
And his own nightly live stream news show — “Timcast IRL” — has over 1.55 MILLION subscribers on YouTube alone.
Why do I mention this?
On Tuesday night — as I was flying here to El Salvador — I got an unsolicited shoutout on that show.
By name.
Me… personally… a shoutout on TIMCAST.
Seriously:
“I know a lot of Bitcoin people… my buddy Jethro just moved to El Salvador”
Yeah…
That episode’s total view and listen count is almost certainly over a MILLION across all platforms.
I know for a fact that it has over 350 thousand views on YouTube alone:
(Hyperlink set to the moment of my shoutout)
What. The. Fuck!!! Hahahahaha
(Attempts to play it cool)
(Humility.exe failed to load)
A million people just heard my name.
Positively associated with both Bitcoin and El Salvador.
In the context of escaping tyranny.
In favor of freedom.
Simply because I chose to LIVE by my values.
But seriously… it’s NOT about me.
Satoshi invented Bitcoin.
Presidente Bukele made it legal tender in El Salvador.
Clint Russell — host of the outstanding “Liberty Lockdown” podcast — is the one who earned his way into that “seat at the table” for Timcast.
MANY others have paved the way.
Clint and I at the antiwar protest in D.C. a few months ago…
A protest which Biden not only ignored… but ALSO actively opposed by flying to Ukraine that very same day… where he committed to spending billions more of “our” fiat taxpayer value on the ruling class money laundering racket… in one of the world’s most corrupt countries… which should have ZERO to do with U.S. national security… and which nonetheless continues to slaughter thousands of innocent citizens on “both” sides who have no real quarrel with each other… “useless eaters” dying for the cause of whether they’ll be “represented” by corrupt sociopaths in Kiev or corrupt sociopaths in Moscow.
But I digress.
I’m NOT doing this alone.
I couldn’t do this alone.
I wouldn’t even know where to start.
But I actually AM doing this.
I actually DID start.
And — particularly in a world of bluepilled NPC fiat slaves who simply “go along to get” worse than nowhere — that makes all the difference.
