T.T. 16: "Practical Liberty" starts with how you "Choose Life"
"Proof of Work" for a better approach to human flourishing
As I mentioned in last week’s post, both Daniel Prince and Henry Bingaman are experts in “getting out of the machine” — living examples of success in escaping the soul-crushing standard existence of the corporate ladder a.k.a. rat race a.k.a. hamster wheel a.k.a. keeping up with the Joneses.
Easier said than done though, right? Princey and Henry actually do make it look easy… not only because they’re each able to speak eloquently about it, but also because they’ve both legitimately achieved it!
Human flourishing — truly thriving, professionally and personally alike — is an attainable goal for all individuals. The hardest part, generally speaking, is simply getting started.
It’s tough to go against the “conventional wisdom” of establishment society, even once you’re already aware that it’s so profoundly wrong across a variety of fundamental categories — not only fiat currency itself, but also the corporate professional ladder… and “public” (Marxist) education… and genetically modified food… and Big Pharma “health”care… and expatriation… etc
Princey and Henry go deep in this interview on four of those topics in particular — career paths, education, expatriation, and of course (primarily in the second half) Bitcoin.
The entire episode is phenomenal, and absolutely worth listening to in its entirety!
Not that I’m biased or anything… as you’ll see in this clip from just the first minute of the interview :)
(I have very little experience with video editing, and for some reason the first three seconds of that clip are muted… but the subsequent sixty seconds work fine, and that short sample is absolutely 100% worth your time)
And here’s a link to the full video:
Again, the entire episode is profoundly worth hearing for anyone interested in finding freedom and fulfillment outside of the modern fiat way of “life”
For people who prefer the audio version — perhaps for listening while on a road trip this Memorial Day weekend — here’s a link to the episode on Spotify, which is available for free to anyone without needing to download a separate app or pay for an account:
